New Delhi: The Delhi Police have registered an FIR in a complaint against the ruckus happened during the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee elections on Thursday.
The director, Narendra Singh, a resident of Paschim Vihar, has filed a police complaint accusing some of the elected members of the Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee 2021 of misbehaviour, ruckus and against the shoe attack on him.
Atma Singh Lubana, a member of Shiromani Akali Dal from Delhi's Tilak Nagar, had allegedly threw the shoe at the director during the election process.

In his complaint, he has mentioned that members started creating a ruckus in the meeting that was convened to elect two members of the co-opted. Some members obstructed the meeting when he asked for objection to the selection of members, and he had to wind up the meeting.

He added shoe attack happened while the police were escorting him out amid the commotion. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police have also registered a case for obstructing government work, threats, and filed charges under several IPC sections. The investigation is on.
