New Delhi: A team of Anti-Auto Theft Squad (AATS) of Delhi Police on Tuesday, arrested a vehicle robbery gang at Dwarka in Delhi on Tuesday. According to police, the gang was involved in financing the purchase of vehicles by using fake documents.
"A team has arrested as many as six accused in this case. The hunt for the gang was going on for several days," said a police official.

According to the police, on December 12, a man named Naveen Kumar had lodged a cheating case at Mohan Garden police station. On the basis of the complaint, the local police started an investigation and registered a case.

The individuals arrested in the case are Mohammed Seiji, Parvinder alias Ranjan, Pravesh, Arun, Amit Jacob and Hemant. 20 vehicles including four scooters, several laptops and printers have also been recovered from them. The value of the seized goods is estimated more than Rs. 2.5 crores, said police.
