New Delhi: Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who had been admitted at a private hospital after testing positive for COVID-19, was administered plasma therapy on Friday night, following which his condition has reportedly improved.

"He has no fever now, his health will be monitored at ICU over the next 24 hours," Jain's office informed today.

According to reports, Jain will be shifted to the ward if his health sees considerable improvement over the next 24 hours.

Jain was earlier admitted at the Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital (RGSSH), a dedicated COVID-19 facility under the city government in east Delhi.

Jain had tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, a day after he was admitted to RGSSH, after running high-grade fever and suffering sudden drop in oxygen levels.

However, Jain was later moved to the ICU of Max Hospital after his condition deteriorated on Friday.
