New Delhi: The family of a coronavirus patient, who died on Friday, has accused Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, where he was treated, of medical negligence.
However, the hospital authorities claimed that the allegations raised by the family were baseless. "We did our best to save Ravi Aggarwal who arrived in the hospital on Friday night around 10pm and he was immediately admitted to the emergency ward. There was no delay in treatment. It's absolutely unfortunate that the doctors couldn't save him. The video going viral on social media is really strange, doctors have been blamed and the hospital has been shown in a bad light, this might bring down the morale of covid-19 warriors who have been working hard to save lives in the hospital," the hospital authority said.

The family of the deceased have been constantly blaming the hospital for the patient's death. "The hospital authorities have been telling people half-truth. The patient was taken to the hospital at 7pm on Friday and he was forced to suffer for straight four hours. If he had received treatment immediately, his life would have been saved," said a family member of the deceased.
