New Delhi: A police constable in Delhi was killed and another injured when a car driven by a teenager crashed into their patrol vehicle.
The police vehicle overturned in the collision near Khalsa College shortly after midnight Monday.
The teenage driver Tushar Gupta has been arrested. Reports say he was returning home after meeting a friend when his Honda City went out of control.

The policeman who lost his life was identified as constable Khan, 50, who died in a hospital where he was rushed for treatment, Commissioner of Police (North) Monika Bhardwaj said. The injured policeman was identified as constable Amit, who has been discharged from hospital.
In the medical report, doctors said the teenager was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident, according to the police.
A case under sections 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 279 (rash driving) and 337 (causing hurt by an act of endangering life) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered, the DCP said.
