New Delhi: Lok Janshakti Party crisis has taken a new turn after a woman has lodged a complaint against Prince Raj in an alleged rape case with Connaught Place Police in New Delhi. Prince Raj is LJP MP from Samastipur and is the son of Chirag's late uncle Ramchandra Paswan. Chirag Paswan has launched a scathing attack against his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras after he was ousted from the post of parliamentary party leader and president by five rebel LJP MPs.
Targetting Paras over ignoring family issues, Chirag on Tuesday released a letter addressing his uncle on social media which mentioned the involvement of Prince in an alleged sexual assault with a woman leader of the party. The letter shared by Chirag on Twitter also stated that the woman used to threaten Prince by accusing him of sexual abuse but Paras failed to act on the issue after it was brought to notice by Chirag.

The letter also revealed that Chirag had advised Prince to take help from police over the issue as it was a matter of concern for the family as well as the party. According to sources, police have started a probe on the complaint of the victim but no FIR has been registered yet. The complaint said that the woman alleged that Prince sexually assaulted her when she became unconscious after consuming intoxicated water.
Notably, Prince Raj became an MP by winning polls from the Samastipur Lok Sabha seat which fell vacant after the death of his father. Chirag also made Prince the president of Bihar State LJP. Currently, Prince joined the Pashupati Paras faction against Chirag.
