New Delhi: Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut on the population control bill said that BJP should first implement the law in the BJP ruled states. Later, the government can decide to implement this law nationwide. Sanjay Raut while speaking to ETV Bharat said that the two-child policy is good but it depends on the success of the policy.
The Shiv Sena leader said that the population policy of 2 children is always right because the balance between the resources and population in the society is necessary. But it also depends on how the government implement the policy. On the question of whether population control policy should be implemented at the centre after Uttar Pradesh, the Shiv Sena leader said that at first Bharatiya Janta Party should implement the population policy in all the BJP ruled states.

He added that the policy that has been implemented in Uttar Pradesh is still experimental and if it is successful then it should be considered. The Shiv Sena leader has said that BJP should implement the policy and make it a success. Then only the rest of the states will consider the implementation of the law.

On the question of Shiv Sena's stand on the population policy, Sanjay Raut added that there is no clear stand but it is certain that if the law is successful in the states then only it will be discussed a nationwide implementation. On the question of whether the government of Maharashtra will consider the population control policy in the state, Sanjay Raut answered that let the policy be implemented in BJP ruled states and then based on their successes, it will be considered nationwide.
