New Delhi: As they say "necessity is the mother of invention", shopkeepers in the national capital, having realized that coronavirus is not going away and life should move on with the highly contagious virus, have come up with some solutions like body sanitizing machines, hand sanitizers and masks to ensure that no one gets infected while shopping from their stores.
ETV Bharat visited Sarojini Nagar market in the national capital and found out that most of the shops and stores are ready to welcome their customers with full-body sanitizing machines, infrared thermometer or temperature gun, a device that measures the temperature, hand sanitizers and masks.
"This has been done to make sure that no one gets infected. It's not about the safety and security of the people working in the store but also about the customers who visit us," Sandeep Thakural, owner of a store said.

He said a full-body sanitizing machine has been installed at the entrance of the store and anyone coming in would get sanitized automatically as it sprays disinfectant on him or her and as the person enters the shop he/she is offered hand sanitizer to clean hands.
"We had realised it long ago when the government initially started lifting lockdown-related restrictions and my brother-in-law made me this body sanitizing machine," he added.
Other stores of the popular market of the city have also made similar arrangements for customers.
