New Delhi: A female Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) office-bearer from the national capital has accused four of her party colleagues of attempting to rape her.
The woman, who worked for the party in the Sadar Bazar Assembly constituency, alleged that four of her office-bearer colleagues attempted to rape her and even used indecent language against her in 2018.
She said that she complained to the local MLA Som Dutt and even Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. While the party assured action against the culprits and even constituted a committee to look into the matter, nothing has been done so far, the woman said.
Finally, she got an FIR around 10 days back, but the Delhi Police is yet to take any action.

When journalists spoke to Sadar Bazar MLA Som Dutt about the woman's allegations, the legislator refused to appear in front of the camera. He, however, claimed that the woman's allegations were false.
The MLA claimed that the woman wanted a ticket to contest elections, but when the party refused, she made the allegations.
Now, the matter is with the police, they will decide, the MLA said.
Meanwhile, the woman has sought police protection for herself and her family.
