New Delhi: Delhi police on Monday arrested two people in connection with black marketing of Amphotericin-B injection which is used to treat Black Fungus. Nearly 20 Amphotericin-B injections were seized from them.
According to police, they were selling the medicine 36 times more than the MRP.
They have been identified as Rajneesh Srivastava, a resident of Ghaziabad and Murtaza Khan from the Harsh Vihar area of Delhi.

DCP Atul Kumar Thakur informed that two students named Abhishek Kumar and Rishabh registered a case at Saket police station over the alleged black marketing of Amphotericin-B injections.
They told police that they were a member of the Covid helper Whatsapp group to help arrange medicines for black fungus patients.
They came in contact with a person who was selling Amphotericin-B injection and agreed to supply 20 injections for Rs 2,26,000 which was 36 times more than the MRP.
Police swung into action and a trap was set to nab the accused.
Saket police SHO Mahipal sent SI Aman and constable Joginder and Vinod to Saket Max Hospital, where the accused were scheduled to meet the complainants.

Police also seized their car and a mobile phone from the Hauz Rani area.
Rajneesh Srivastava has completed his post-graduation from Lucknow University and is a medical equipment supplier while Murtaza Khan, is his driver.
During interrogation, Rajneesh revealed that he bought injections from Lucknow.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
