Earlier, Bastar Inspector General P Sundarraj termed the recent accusations by the Naxals as baseless and fabricated. Challenging his statement, the Maoists released the pictures of two Quadcopters.

The airstrike by Chhattisgarh Police happened on April 19 under Pamed Police Station. However, the Naxals changed their location and didn't suffer any casualties in the airstrike.

The alleged attack is part of a morale-boosting operation by the Chhattisgarh Police following the events of Sukma, where 22 security personnel died in a Naxalite attack.
