Five Naxalites surrendered in Narayanpur

Five Naxalites Maharaji Kashyap, Jagdish Nag, Jagnath Nag, Chaitram Korram and Lacchin Nag have surrendered before the District Collector and SP in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur. All the surrendered Naxalites were recruited in the Bastar division between 2016 and 2018.

Narayanpur: Five Naxalites have surrendered before the District Collector and SP on Saturday.

All the surrendered Naxalites were recruited in the Bastar division between 2016 and 2018.

They were assigned different responsibilities.

Due to the Naxal eradication campaign being run by the Narayanpur Police, the pressure on the militia members involved in the banned Naxal organization is increasing while staying in the village.

And being influenced by the rehabilitation policy of the government, leaving the Naxal organization and joining the mainstream of the society on Saturday, five Naxalites surrendered before District Collector Dharmesh Kumar Sahu and SP Mohit Garg.

The administration provided an incentive of Rs 10,000 each to the surrendered Naxalites. The Naxalite who surrendered includes Maharaji Kashyap, Jagdish Nag, Jagnath Nag, Chaitram Korram and Lacchin Nag.

Three Naxalites arrested in Sukma. Police have arrested two Naxalites from the Errabor police station area of ​​Sukma.

Apart from Arrabor, the police have arrested a Naxalite from near village Bodras. Sukhram Sakin is a resident of village Bokraodar police station Kukanar.

The two Naxalites who have been arrested from the Errabor police station were working to block the road on Saturday. The team of DRG and security forces were on the search.

During the search, Maoists were trying to block the road by putting wood and stones on the National Highway 30 between Gaganpally and Birla.

Seeing the police party coming towards them, the Naxalites started firing on the security forces. After this, the police team opened fire. The police succeeded arresting two naxals Madvi Joga and Madvi Bhima.
