Janjgir-Champa: Not all superheroes wear capes and Chattisgarh's 66-year-old 'waterman' has proved it. In an act of humanity, Govind Soni, hailing from Naila, has been serving water to passengers at Naila station for the past 30 years.
Whenever a train halts at the station, Soni reaches there with cold water and serve it to people, especially those travelling in general coaches and cannot buy canned water due to lack of money.
The passengers appreciate his noble work and now, he has made an identity of his own at the station.
Soni said, "I will not stop serving water to people till I die. This gives me immense happiness and peace."
He added, "People supported me and that's the reason I've been able to do this work for so long."
