Bihar: A 19-year-old pregnant girl was set ablaze by her boyfriend in Bihar's Bettiah on Tuesday. The incident took place in Narkatiaganj town in West Champaran district of Bihar.
The victim was rushed to a hospital with 70 per cent burn injuries. Sources said that the accused had been sexually exploiting the girl for the past several months on the pretext of marriage.
Victim's brother has confirmed that the girl was set on fire by the man she was in a relationship with.
The accused is absconding.
