Patna: Ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections 2020, political parties have started poll campaigning apart from targeting the Nitish Kumar-led state government over laxity in administration. In between all these, the issue of seat-sharing between the two fronts including NDA and the grand alliance is also gaining momentum following which the parties are consulting its members.

Bihar's largest opposition party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is going to contest elections under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav. With the spirit to win elections this time, Tejashwi is constantly attacking Bihar government over unemployment and migration.

He also targeted CM Nitish Kumar on these issues and fired his questions including:-

  • Why Bihar has the highest unemployment rate in India?
  • Why IT companies cannot come to Bihar for development?
  • Why can't IT parks and SEZs be built in Bihar?
  • Why is maximum migration from Bihar?

With his questions, Tejashwi made it clear that industrialisation will also be an issue in Bihar polls this time.

The dissatisfaction of LJP, which is NDA's ally, is clearly visible this time. The national president LJP has been continuously making statements against the government. Even Chirag Paswan has also become active on seat sharing. He wants his party to contest most of the seats in Bihar.

Perhaps, this is the reason why he organised a meeting with his MPs in Delhi. Earlier in the Lok Sabha elections, LJP got 6 seats from NDA. The party won all the seats. On Thursday, Chirag held a meeting with these 6 MPs. It is being speculated that during the meeting separation from NDA was also discussed.

United Democratic Alliance (UDA) convenor and former Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha is also active in poll preparations. It is to be believed that he is preparing for the Third Front but has not been able to give it a concrete shape following which he has once again launched a fierce attack on the Modi government at the Center and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

In a tweet, Yashwant Sinha said, "Bihar has become a paradise due to the efforts of Narendra Modi and Nitish. Corona will also be finished by September 25. The rest that is left will be completed by the blessings of God and Chhath Maiya. Vote for the NDA and weep for 5 more years."

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of thousands of crores of schemes in the past one month. According to the experts, these schemes are being launched to attract the vote bank in the upcoming elections. The programme shall continue even before the code of conduct is implemented. Following the same, Chief Minister on Wednesday inaugurated the construction department's project of over 600 crore rupees.

On the other hand, Congress is preparing for the elections with its 'Bihar Revolution Mass Conference'. Congress organised the conference in Samastipur through the digital medium. The conference was addressed by Bihar Congress in-charges Shakti Singh Gohil and Ajay Kapoor, senior Congress leader Tariq Anwar and Rajya Sabha MP Dr Akhilesh Prasad Singh amid constant attack on NDA government over the issue of unemployment in Bihar.
