New Delhi: Former MP and Jan Adhikar Party chief Pappu Yadav sat here on a day-long hunger strike demanding better facilities for migrant workers who want to return to Bihar in view coronavirus crisis.
He said MPs and MLAs would understand pain and anguish of the workers, who have been walking towards their states on foot without eating anything only after their children are asked to walk for 500 kilo-miters without food.

He said the claims of the government that they would get food, shelter and quarantine facility were bogus as nothing was arranged for them.
Yadav has been raising the issues concerning the migrant workers from Bihar and even an FIR was registered against him as went to meet migrant workers from Bihar in Okhla Mandi area in Delhi
few days ago when they were protesting that they should be sent to their home state.
Yadav is a former MP from Madhepura, Bihar.
