Patna: A complaint was filed in Bettiah Civil Court of Bihar against Chinese President Xi Jinping and World Health Organisation (WHO) Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus for allegedly hatching a conspiracy to spread coronavirus.
The matter is slated for hearing before the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) on June 16.
The complaint, filed by Advocate Murad Ali alleged that the duo hatched a conspiracy to spread coronavirus which led to the death of several people.
Several sceptics have been speculating theories behind coronavirus outbreak in the world. People allege that coronavirus is an offensive biological weapon created by China.
The advocate has named Prime Minister Narendra Modi and American President Donald Trump as a witness in the matter.
The complaint was filed under section 269, 270, 271, 302, 307,500, 504, and 120 B of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Earlier, in a similar matter complaint was filed in a Muzaffarpur court against Chinese President Xi Jinping and China's ambassador to India Sun Weidong.
A photograph from the passage of the book 'The Eyes of Darkness' by Dean Koontz allegedly predicts the coronavirus outbreak.
Citing the reference from the book, the lawyer said that the deadly virus was developed in the lab of Wuhan city to be later used as a biological weapon against their enemies.
