Patna: As votes are counted in Bihar legislative elections, the Congress party remains wary of possible horsetrading of MLAs.

Avinash Pandey, the Congress party's poll observer in Bihar will play a crucial role in deciding the strategy. He has played a significant role in inhibiting Congress MLAs switching to the BJP in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

In case of any pitfall, the Congress MLAs could be taken to Rajasthan to prevent horse-trading. There is also speculation that if the leader of the Grand Alliance, Tejashwi Yadav ask the Congress to shift his MLAs to Rajasthan, then, the MLAs of Tejashwi's party may also be moved to Rajasthan.

It should also be noted that two ministers of Rajasthan - Raghu Sharma and Rajendra Yadav are in Patna.
