Chopper showers flowers in college campus instead of hospital in Bihar

The army mistakenly showered flowers in Nalanda Medical college campus to show gratitude towards efforts and sacrifice of the corona warriors. Later on, when the helicopter reached the medical professionals were overwhelmed to despite knowing that flowers were already showered.

Patna: Doctors, nurses and the medical team at the Nalanda Medical College Hospital (NMCH) were anxiously waiting on Sunday for choppers to shower flower petals atop building as a mark of gratitude to the efforts and sacrifice of the corona warriors.

However, the army mistakenly showered flowers in the campus of Nalanda Medical College in Bhoothnath road which is around 1 km away from the hospital.

When the helicopter reached hospital, everyone was overwhelmed despite knowing the fact that flowers were already showered.

The medical professionals lined up outside the hospital wearing a hospital uniform and personal protective suit to acknowledge the gesture by the army.

The doctors and nurses waved Indian flag, cheered and clapped while singing patriotic songs.
