Darbhanga: A fire broke out in a coach of Darbhanga-Ahmedabad train while it was parked in the yard here in Bihar on Saturday morning.
According to information, the spare coach of the train was on fire.
Darbhanga railway director, Balram said,"I reached the spot immediatley after I was informed. Railway fire bridage team with the help of local people doused the fire."
The reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.
However, no casualties were reported in the incident.
Earlier, on Wednesday the coach of Darbhanga-New Delhi Bihar Sampark Kranti Superfast Express caught fire while it was empty and parked in the yard for routine maintenance.
No casualties were reported in the incident and an inquiry was ordered to ascertain the cause of the fire.
The Railways has ordered a Joint-Secretary level inquiry to ascertain the cause of the fire.
