Patna: Bharatiya Janata Party's Mandal Vice President Rajesh Kumar Jha has been shot and killed near Beur area of Patna.
The incident happened around 6 AM when he had gone for a morning walk near his house. He was shot by masked gunmen on a motorcycle near the Sitaram Utsav Hall.
The attackers are absconding. The body has been kept in PMCH for post mortem.
Speaking with ETV Bharath His elder brother Sanjay Jha said, at 7:00 family received information that Raju has been murdered. He was a social activist leader, he did not have a dispute with anyone, was a very happy person.
The police are yet to catch the culprits. Further investigation is underway.
