Bihar man designs special umbrella to protect from coronavirus

A young scientist from Bihar has come up with a new idea to safeguard people from coronavirus. Vineet has made a special type of umbrella which will help in social distancing and sanitizing.

Aurangabad: Amid the ongoing war against the coronavirus, a young scientist from Aurangabad district of Bihar has invented a special type of umbrella based on the principle of hydraulic pressure that will protect people from the infection of coronavirus.

Sanitizer is also used in this special umbrella which will help in maintaining hygiene.

Vineet, son of Manish Prajapati, is a resident of Dehra village of Sadar block of the district.

Explaining the functioning of the umbrella, Vineet said: "When a person opens the umbrella, then there will be pressure on the sanitizer installed inside it which will sanitize the upper part. In this way, the person using the umbrella will be completely protected from virus infection."

"The price of a normal umbrella in the market is between 100 and 300 rupees but the price of this special umbrella made by him will be only 200 rupees, "he further added.

Earlier, Vineet has produced petrol from plastic waste.
