Samastipur: Political strategist-turned-activist Prashant Kishor has postponed his Jan Suraj Padyatra for about a month after he suffered a muscle tear during the ongoing foormarch in Smastipur area of Bihar, he said on Monday. The padyatra will start from June 11 as Kishor recovers from the health issue. Addressing a press conference at Morva, Samastipur, Kishore said that he is having difficulty in walking due to torn muscle of his left leg.

He said that the doctor has said that the muscle tear has happened due to consistently walking 20-25 kms daily on bad roads during the ongoing Jan Suraj yatra. “The doctor has advised that the feet should be given rest for 15-20 days, so the padyatra has to be postponed,” the IPAC president said. “Due to walking about 20 to 25 kilometers everyday on the bad roads of Bihar, I have developed a strain in my leg,” he added.
