Muzaffarpur: In a case of sheer brutality, a group of men thrashed a woman and put chilli powder on her private parts following a heated argument in a land dispute case in Bihar's Muzaffarpur, police said on Thursday. The incident took place on Monday evening under Mushahari police station limits.
According to police, the accused, who are the neighbours of the victim, stripped and thrashed her mercilessly. When she fell unconscious, they put chilli powder on her private parts and also broke her left arm and right leg. The family of the victim informed that the woman was facing serious threat in a land dispute case from her neighbour identified as Lakhan Sah.

On Monday evening, over a dozen of men including Lakhan Sah, Makhan Sah, Ramu Sah, Raju Kumar, Ram Kumar attacked the woman. Ahiyapur SHO informed that the woman was rushed to SKMCH for treatment. "A case has been registered after the victim recorded her statement and further investigation into the matter is underway," police added.
