Bhagalpur (Bihar): Woman was gang-raped after her husband, a gambler, allegedly wagered her in a bet at Mozahidipur of Bihar's Bhagalpur district on Sunday.
The victim, who lives in the same area, claimed that her husband was an alcoholic and had put her on a stake while gambling.
The woman has now registered a case with the police, demanding action against her husband.
According to a complaint by her, the man asked her to 'go with winners' as he had lost a bet. Later, the woman escaped and reached her parent’s home.
On being informed about the whole incident, the family member of the woman lodged a complaint against her husband.
"We have registered the case and have begun an investigation," said Ashish Bharati, Senior Superintendent of Police.
