In the year 2012, the farmers of Khagaria District were provided KCC insurance from the Grameen Bank. However, now they lament that no money was provided to them under the insurance despite paying the premiums.

Khagaria: In Mansi town of Khagaria district, farmers were provided with Kisan Credit Card (KCC) from Grameen Bank in the year 2012. Kisan Credit Card (KCC) is an initiative by the Government of India to ensure that farmers of the country have access to credit at an affordable rate.

However, the district witnessed heavy floods in 2016 which spoilt the crops. Now, the farmers lament that they did not receive any amount under KCC insurance despite paying the premiums. Also, the banks were now sending notice to them to repay the money taken under the KCC loan scheme, they added.

The bank is recovering the KCC loan from the farmers arbitrarily and is also demanding adequate interest on the loan amount, the farmers complained.

Commenting on this, District Magistrate (DM) Anirudh Kumar said that the matter had come to his knowledge. He added that a fair probe would be conducted in the matter and farmer would get the insurance money.

हम समस्या बता रहे है बिहार के खगड़िया जिला के मानशी ब्लोक के बख्तियारपुर गांव का जंहा पर तकरीबन 40 से 45 किसानों को ग्रामीण बैंक मानशी द्वारा नोटिस जारी कर एक महीने के अंदर पैसा लौटने की बात कही गई है
जाहिर सी बात है कि बैंक कर्ज दिया है तो अपना पैसा वापस लेगा ही लेकिन क्या फसल बीमा किया है तो बाढ़ क्षेत्र घोषित हुए एरिया को क्षतिपूर्ति तो देगा या लोन माफ करने का नियम तो है ही लेकिन यंहा ऐसा कुछ होते हुए नही दिख रहा बल्कि किसानों के खून चूसा जा रहा है
दरसल पूरा मामला किसान क्रेडिट लोन का है ये सभी किसान 2012 में केसीसी लोन करवाया और उसको लगतार रिनिवल करवाते रहे ताकि कोई फसल पर आपदा आ जाए तो बैंक के द्वारा मदत मिल सके हुआ भी कुछ ऐसा ही दुर्भाग्य से 2016 में जिले में बाढ़ आई और किसानों के फसल को बर्बाद कर चली गई उस समय मक्का का फसल किसानों के द्वारा किया गया था मानशी प्रखंड बाढ़ एरिया भी घोसित हो गया लेकिन इन सभी किसानों को केसीसी बीमा के तहत कोई राशि नही मिली जबकि केसीसी राशि मक्का फसल बाबर्द होने के साथ दुब चुकी थी और आज वही केसीसी राशि को बैंक द्वारा सुध जोड़ कर मंगा जा रहा है जिससे किसान बर्बाद होने के कगार पर आ गए है और दुर्भाग्य है उनका की कोई सुनने वाला भी नही है
क्या कहते है किसान
किसानों का कहना है कि जिस तरीके से साल 2016 में हमारी फसल नष्ट हुई और बैंक के द्वारा दिया गया राशि फसल के साथ डूब गई और अब बैंक के द्वारा इतना सूध मंगा जा रहा ऐसे में हमारे पास आत्महत्या करने के अलावे कोई चारा नही है वही जिला अधिकारी अनिरुद्ध कुमार का कहना है कि हमारे संज्ञान में ऐसा मामला आया जिसमे किसानों से मनमाने तरीके से पैसा वसूला जा रहा है हम इस पर जांच करवाते है और जो भी हम से बन सकेगा हम किसानों की मतद करेंगे
