Patna: An exhilarating move of Laheriasarai police of Darbhanga district, Bihar came into highlight when cops surprised a four-year-old boy with the cake and celebrated his birthday amid nationwide lockdown.
Reportedly, Ankur Kumar Gupta went out in the morning to buy cake for his son. However, police asked him to return back home given the lockdown situation.
"In order to buy a cake for my son's birthday, I went out but to no avail. Police asked my address and they sent me back home. Little did we expect that they themselves will turn up with the cake and celebrate my son's birthday. This action in itself is so endearing as well as inspiring. I am proud of my state's police for taking care of people in this way," Ankur added.
