Guwahati: The North East Students' Organization has appealed to all the Chief Ministers of Northeast and the student community to resort to a Twitter storm between 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday (June 4, 2021), demanding the inclusion of chapters about India's Northeast in the NCERT textbooks.
The microblogging site will be stormed by the students of the Northeast to appeal to the government to make arrangements for including chapters about the region in NCERT textbooks so that the racial bias against the people of the region can be removed from the minds of the people elsewhere in the country.
The two Twitter hashtags - #AchapterforNE and #NortheastMatters, have been created for the upcoming Twitter storm.
