TDP extends all support to Modi government

Hyderabad: Even as Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is going all out to cobble up a strong anti-BJP alliance, but his party on Saturday extended its full support to the Narendra Modi government's response to the Pulwama terror attack that claimed the lives of 40 CRPF Bravehearts.

In a statement, made after an all-party meeting in Delhi, TDP MP Ram Mohan Naidu strongly condemn the cowardly attack against CRPF convoy in Pulwama and condoled the Jawans who made supreme sacrifice for the nation.

Naidu demanded immediate compensations for the soldiers' families and asked the central government to take the responsibility of their dependents.

"In this time of mourning the country stands with the Indian Army. The sacrifice of the soldiers for the country will not go in vain.
The country will give a befitting reply to the perpetrators of the attack on Indian soldiers.

"We believe that Indian government will respond to the attack resolutely, firmly and effectively," Naidu said

Naidu, however, took a dig on PM Narendra Modi for latter's failure attend the all-party meeting held over Pulwama attack. "It would have been easy to take a decision on the next move against the attack had PM been present in the meeting.

"Home Minister Rajnath Singh has not announced further plans over the terror attack. He wants to hold another meeting to chalk out further action plan" added Naidu.
