Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh): The depression over the Bay of Bengal which had intensified into a deep depression, early on Tuesday morning crossed the north Andhra Pradesh coast near Kakinada, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The Deep Depression is reportedly being monitored by coastal Doppler Weather Radars of Machilipatnam, Visakhapatnam and Gopalpur.
