Visakhapatnam: Police in Andhra Pradesh have disrupted a gang that was collecting Aadhar, Pan and biometric details of people in Vishakapatnam district, reports said.
The group offered Rs 500 to people in Gajuwaka to provide their personal identification details before police were tipped off. The gang targetted poor and illiterate people who became easy targets.

Two members of the gang fled when they were questioned by local youths who became suspicious. One of the gang members was tied to a tree before police were called to the scene. Police have advised the people not to trust anyone seeking personal details.
