Amid Covid, APTDC earns income by supplying food to victims

The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) has opted for an alternative path to surpass the odds and challenges of the Corona Pandemic. While several other organizations have been removing their employees to tide over losses, APTDC is doing a really wonderful job of getting revenues by making optimal use of available resources. It has shown inspirational services by offering healthy food among Covid patients on a continuous basis.

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh): The Covid-19 pandemic has devastated the entire world. All sectors have been badly hit as corona has left a trail of destruction. Interestingly, with new ideas, the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) is moving ahead on the path of benefits. The organization has made special arrangements to supply timely food for lakhs of Covid patients in hospitals.

Presently, APTDC is supplying food packets to 7700 covid patients every day, earning Rs 7 cr in the process. It has set a record of sorts by offering nutritional food to more than 4 lakh covid victims. The covid patients are feeling content with the special food as well.

During lunch they offer chicken, fry curry, dal, rice and for dinner they get Chapati, dal, curry and pickle.

In addition to that, they offer Ragi Java, pepper milk, and fruits. Also, they give three eggs a day and special focus on tiffin items.

Altogether, from its 11 centres, the APTDC is supplying food items to several hospitals in 8 districts.

Covid patients are expressing their contentment with the food as they are able to recover speedily by taking nutritional food.
