Hangzhou (China): Indian athlete Harmilan Bains finished in second place in women's 800m and bagged a silver medal in the ongoing Asian Games, which was underway in this Chinese city.
The 25-year-old from Punjab clocked an impressive timing of 2:03.75 to clinch a silver in the highly competitive race. The gold was bagged by Sri Lanka's Tharushi Dissanayaka with a timing of 2:03.20 The bronze was claimed by China’s Chunyu Wang courtesy timing of 2.03:90.

Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter wrote, "DOUBLE DELIGHT BY HARMILAN!! Notably, Bains had earlier won a silver in the women's 1500m race in this edition of the Games, which are underway here.
