Bhopal: Delhi born swimmer Kushagra Rawat broke Madhya Pradesh's Adwait Page's 1500m freestyle national record in the Seniors National Aquatic Championship held at Bhopal. Rawat took 15.41.35 minutes to finish the race.

Kushagra Rawat spoke to ETV Bharat exclusively right after scripting history. He said that he worked extremely hard to achieve this feat. He further said that now he would further work hard for the upcoming events, while he would also try to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and make his country proud.
