Leeds United remove Osama Bin Laden's image from stands

With no fans in the stadium, Leeds United had introduced a scheme for their fans to felt their presence in the stadium. And to sign up for the same, fans had to pay £25. Once a fan had signed up for the scheme, a cutout of their photos would be placed at the Elland Road stadium.

Hyderabad: The Premier League clubs are back into the action behind closed doors after a hiatus, forced by the Covid-19 pandemic, which had wreaked havoc in the world. And with no fans in the stands, English Premier League club Leeds United had invited their fans to send their pictures to place cutouts placed in the stands.

And their move backfired, after a photo of their stand went viral on social media in which a cardboard cutout of former Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was placed.
