Turin: According to a leading Italian sports news agency, Matthijs de Ligt is flying to Juventus for medicals on Wednesday. This is after reports emerging in the media that Juventus have reportedly agreed to a deal with Ajax for 65 million euros plus bonuses for a total of 75 million euros.
Earlier, Ajax director Marc Overmars had confirmed regarding De Ligt that "the end is in sight, it's about bank guarantees now."
It is believed that the 19-year-old defender has already agreed to personal terms with the Turin based side worth 8-9 million euros per year plus add-ons to reach a total of 12 million euros salary on a five-year contract.
It is also reported that the Dutch international is expected to wear the number 4 jersey while reportedly having a release clause of 150 million euros which is expected to increase each year.
The Dutchman also reportedly has attracted the interests of FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.
