Jaipur: Indian skipper Virat Kohli on Tuesday has become the only third Indian cricketer to lead Royal Challengers Bangalore in 100 Indian Premier League (IPL) matches. However, he failed to make it a memorable one.

He achieved the feat during the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) atSawai Mansingh Stadium.
Kohli scored 23 off 25 before being bamboozled by Shreyas Gopal.
The right-hand batsman is yet to taste a victory in IPL 2019. So far, he played 167 matches and is the only player to lead a team in 100 matches. Kohli became captain of RCB in 2011.
The other two skippers who had earlier achieved the feat were MS Dhoni and Gautam Gambhir.
Dhoni played a total of 162 matches as captain. He captained CSK in 148 while he led Rising Pune Supergiant in 14 matches.

Meanwhile, Gambhir played the captaincy role in 129 matches, including 108 for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) while he led Delhi Daredevils (now rechristened Delhi Capitals) in 21 matches.
