Mumbai: The group stage matches of the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) is finally over and after 56 games, four teams have qualified for the next round of the tournament.
Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians sit atop on the IPL point table, followed by Chennai after the conclusion of IPL league matches.
Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, have booked their berth for the playoffs and will battle it out for IPL title in the next round of the mega T20 event starting on May 7.
CSK and Mumbai Indians will take on each other in the first qualifier on Tuesday in Chennai. Both the teams have lifted the prestigious IPL trophy three times.
Delhi Capitals is the only team among the qualifies, who have never reached the finale of the cash-rich league. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the 2016 edition of the Indian Premier League and reached the final of the marquee event in IPL 2018. Delhi will take on Hyderabad on May 8 in the eliminator in Vizag.
Meanwhile, it is also noteworthy that Kane Williamson-led Sunrises Hyderabad became the first ever IPL team to qualify for the playoffs with 12 points from 14 matches ever.

Eliminator: Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad in Vizag on May 8.
The winner of the eliminator and loser of the qualifier 1 will face each other in the qualifier 2.
