Hyderabad: The three-match T20I series between India and Australia was like a replay of ODIs series. While Australia won the One-dayers 2-1, India clinch the T20I series with the same margin.
And the outcome of the limited-overs series has increased the intensity of the upcoming four-match Test series, slated to kick-start on 17th December.
Review of T20I Series
After losing the ODIs series, India started the T20I series on a winning note as they thrashed the Australians by 11 runs. India won the second match by six wickets to take an unbeaten lead of 2-0. However, Australia avoided a whitewash by overwhelming the Indians in the last T20I by 12 runs.
With the T20I series win, Virat Kohli has become the only second overseas captain to register Test, ODI & T20I series wins in Australia after South African skipper Faf du Plessis. He is the only Asian captain to do so.

DRS Drama and Kohli's Outburst
India captain Virat Kohli has criticised the staff managing the big-screen at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) for the 'goof-up' which prevented the Indian team from taking a review against Australia's Matthew Wade during the third T20I on Tuesday.
Wade was flying at 50 off 34 balls at the time and went on to add 30 more runs.
Although the prevailing belief at the time was that India had exceeded the time allocated for taking a referral whereas Kohli blamed the TV staff for showing the replay of the disputed incident on the big screen before the 15-second period.
The Concussion Controversy
Many cricket experts have questioned whether Yuzvendra Chahal can be called a "like for like" concussion substitute for Ravindra Jadeja after the leg-spinner spun his web to take India to a 11-run victory in the first T20 international on Friday.
Jadeja was hit by a Mitchell Starc bouncer in the second ball of the final over of the Indian innings and was subsequently replaced by Chahal when India came out to defend their total. To the frustration of the Australians, Chahal took 3/25 as the home side could score only 150 for 7 while chasing 162.
