New Delhi: Batting maestro and former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has addressed the heated argument with former India skipper and Lucknow Super Giants mentor Gautam Gambhir after an IPL match on Monday in a cryptic Instagram post. In a cryptic story on his official Instagram handle, Kohli quoted the 2nd century Roman Emperor and philosopher Marcus Aurelius.
"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth," Kohli wrote in the Instagram story. The batting maestro's reaction comes hours after he was involved with LSG mentor and former teammate Gautam Gambhir following a low scoring IPL thriller in which RCB beat LSG by 18 runs.

Videos are being widely shared showing Kohli and Gambhir having a heated exchange of words after the match. Other players of both teams had to intervene and separate the two to control things before they went out of hand. Gambhir was also seen pulling away West Indies player Kyle Mayers, who plays for LSG while Mayers was talking to Kohli.
Both Kohli and Gambhir have been fined 100 per cent of their match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct. LSG bowler Naveen ul Haq, who was also involved in a heated exchange has been fined 50 per cent of his match fees. Pertinently, following the RCB's win in Monday's low scoring thriller, Kohli took to Instagram while thanking the “massive support for us at Lucknow”. “Amazing win tonight. Love the massive support for us at Lucknow. Thank you to all the fans for supporting us,” Kohli wrote in a post.
