Manchester: Pakistan's humiliating defeat to India in the World Cups is not new. Sunday's defeat in Manchester was their seventh against India. Since the 1992 World Cup, when the two teams met each other for the first time, Pakistan have not won any match against India in ICC's showpiece event.
Following Pakistan's defeat, media and fans in the country went berserk as they ripped apart their players for not being able to give India a fight. Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and his husband Shoaib Malik found them at the centre of such criticisms.

A day before Pakistan's high-octane match against India, pictures of Sania and Shoaib sitting at a Shisha Cafe enjoying hookah, burger and pizza along with Hasan Ali, Imam-ul-Haq and Wahab Riaz went viral. Their new-born son was also present at the restaurant.
When fans and media didn't stop their search for reasons for Pakistan's defeat to archrivals India, Pakistani actress Veena Malik took to Twitter to point up to Sania that she was worried that such places are 'hazardous' for kids.

Sania, I am actually so worried for the kid. You guys took him to a sheesha place isn't it Hazardious? Also as far as I know Archie's is all about junk food which isn't good for athletes/Boys. You must know well as you are mother and athlete yourself? https://t.co/RRhaDfggus

However, Veena's comment didn't go well with Saina as she shot back with a stern reply by saying that she cares about her son 'more than anyone else'.

In her reply to Veena's food barb, an angry Sania said she is not 'Pakistan cricket team’s dietitian nor am I their mother or principal or teacher'. Questions have been raised against 'unfit' Pakistani players as they were sloppy on the field and their fitness was not up to the mark.
Hence, the footage of players enjoying night-out on the eve of India match sparked outrage in Pakistan. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) denied any such activity of players.

Later, Sania seemed to have toned down her anger while trying to end the discussion. She wrote: "Thank you for your concern though. Means a lot".
