One of his biggest moves towards making this World Cup a memorable one 37-year-old wicket-keeper batsman brought a strategic change to his bat.

The right-hand batsman used to use 1180 gram bat before, but for the 2019 World Cup, he cut down 20 grams in order to play with a lighter bat at English conditions.
A Jalandhar based bat factory did this task for him. The same factory also provided a new bat to Hashim Amla for the ongoing World Cup. Amla will use a much lighter bat than Dhoni.
Dhoni took fans by storm in the recently concluded IPL. In the practice match, he also slammed a hundred against Bangladesh.
