Bristol (England): Hashmatullah Shahidi struck fifty as Afghanistan thrashed Pakistan by three wickets in the first warm-up games of the ICC Cricket World cup 2019.
Afghan opener Hazratullah Zazai also made a valuable contribution of 49 runs as Afghanistan warn all the teams about their arrival in the World Cup ahead of the fifty overs mega tournament.
Batting first, Pakistan huffed and puffed their ways to 262 runs in 47.5 overs before getting bowled out. Off-spinner Mohammad Nabi ripped apart Pakistan's batting order as the Afghan all-rounder picked three wickets conceding just 46 runs in his allotted 10 overs.
Babar Azam was the only Pak cricketer who was able to counter Afghanistan's bowling. Azam scored 112 runs off 108 balls with the help of 10 fours and two sixes.

Chasing a mediocre total of 263 runs to win on a batting friendly pitches, Afghanistan won the match with three wickets in hand.
Hashmatullah Shahidi was the stand out performer for the Afghan team with the bat. he scored 74 runs off 102 balls.
