Brisbane: The day after India battled to draw the Sydney Test match, Australia captain Tim Paine has apologised on Tuesday for his poor on-field behaviour as the tension kept rising on the final day at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Paine, who dropped three catches on the final day, said, "my leadership wasn't good enough...and yesterday I fell short of my expectations and our team standard, so. I'm human. I want to apologize for the mistakes that I made yesterday, certainly, as I said, not not a reflection of the way I want to lead this team."
