Mumbai: Current World No. 3 Test bowler Jasprit Bumrah has sustained a minor stress fracture in his lower back and has been ruled out of the upcoming Test series between India and South Africa for the for Gandhi-Mandela Trophy.
The injury was detected during a routine radiological screening. He will now undergo rehabilitation at NCA and will be monitored by the BCCI Medical Team.

While the first Test of the Gandhi-Mandela Trophy is set to begin in Visakhapatnam from 2nd October, the second and third test are scheduled to begin from 10th and 19th respectively at Pune and Ranchi.
