Mitchell Santner's last-ball six against Ben Stokes helped MSD reach 100 win mark as a captain in IPL. He became the first captain to have achieved this milestone.

However, in what will be a very special match for CSK skipper a controversy took place in the final over of the thriller. Dhoni, who was clean bowled by a Ben Stokes yorker came back on field few balls later as umpire revoked the no-ball decision. Dhoni was not really happy with the umpiring but eventually, CSK won the match on the last ball.

The IPL said via a statement: "MS Dhoni, the Chennai Super Kings captain, was fined 50 per cent of his match fees for breaching the VIVO Indian Premier League's [IPL] Code of Conduct during his team's match against Rajasthan Royals at Jaipur.

Mr Dhoni was admitted to the Level 2 offence 2.20 of the IPL's Code of Conduct and accepted the sanction.

The fine takes some of the shine off his performance for the table-topping CSK, with Dhoni having contributed 58 off 43 to his team's winning cause.

Surprisingly, Murali Karthik did not ask MS Dhoni any questions on his outburst during the post-match presentation ceremony.
