Indore: The Indian speedsters were right on the money against Bangladesh as the guests were reduced to 63/3 at the end of the first session. Earlier, Bangladeshi skipper Mominul Haque won the toss and decided to bat first.

However, the hosts had a perfect start as Umesh Yadav struck in the very sixth over of the match. The Vidarbha pacer forced Imrul Kayes to edge which was comfortably taken by Ajinkya Rahane at gully.

In the next over, rookie batsman Shadman Islam was caught behind by Indian wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha off Ishant Sharma's delivery. Soon Mohammad Shami followed the suit as he was able to plumb Mohammad Mithun in front of the wickets for 13 runs.

Rahim was lucky to go to lunch undefeated off Ishant's delivery as he was dropped by Virat Kohli at third slip when he was only on three runs. Kohli went with hard hands and could not hang on to a simple catch by his standards.

All the Indian pacers were able to get help from the surface and pitched the ball up to get assistance from the surface. In fact, Ravichandran Ashwin was the only bowler who bowled and didn’t get a wicket
