He is very talented: Parthiv Patel backs Rishabh Pant

Talking about Pant, Patel also went on to say that if somebody is representing India on world platform then he must be very talented.

Kolkata: Wicket-keeper batsman Parthiv Patel on Thursday backed under-fire cricketer Rishabh Pant, saying that he is a talented cricketer.

Patel, who is leading Gujarat in ongoing Ranji Trophy tournament, talked with reporters in Kolkata ahead of their game against West Bengal.

Heaping praises on Pant, Patel said, "He is a very talented cricketer." The wicket-keeper batsman also went on to say that if somebody is representing India on world platform then he must be very talented.

When Parthiv Patel was asked about the pressure that Rishabh Pant is feeling. The 34-year-old cricketer said that when you represent your country there is always pressure.

However, he also backed Pant to flourish under pressure.
