Hyderabad: The Indian Premier League 2019, which is the twelfth season of India's showpiece T20 tournament, gets underway with an immense clash on Saturday as Royal Challengers Bangalore will travel to the Chidambaram Stadium to take on defending champions Chennai Super Kings.

Both the teams have a great fan following around the world as the two most liked players of the current Indian cricket team MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, are the leaders of CSK and RCB respectively.

  • Chennai Super Kings is the most successful team in IPL history as they have won 91 matches out of 150 and have a success percentage of 60.67.
  • On the other hand, RCB have managed to win only 79 matches out of 169.

  • CSK and RCB have locked horns with each other for 23 times out of which Dhoni's Chennai won 15 matches, while Kohli's Bangalore emerged victorious in just seven games.
