Hangzhou: Indian cricket team won the final of the Asian Games on Saturday as a result of match being called off due to rain. After choosing to bowl first, India dominated the proceedings right from the start as they soon reduced the opposition to 52/5 sending the half of the opposition back to the pavilion. However, Shahidullah Kamal and Gulbadin Naib joined forces to steady the innings and stitch a 60-run partnership for the sixth wicket. But, rain interrupted in the game and India won the gold after the match was called off as they were the highest ranked team in the tournament .
